We can represent you in Family Court, Federal Circuit Court or Magistrates’ Court if you have been served with Court documents or assist you with filing an Application if the other party is unwilling to negotiate and you are unable to reach an amicable agreement.
We regularly appear in the Melbourne Registry of the Federal Court and Family Court of Australia, along with the Registry of the Federal Circuit Court in Ballarat and Geelong. If you require assistance with an Application which has been filed in another Registry or State, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We also regularly appear in the Magistrates’ Court in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne including, Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat, Geelong, Werribee, and Sunshine and in country West Victoria. If you have been served with or have filed an Application for a Family Violence Intervention Order or Personal Safety Intervention Order in another Magistrates’ Court, we can still be able to assist and suggest that you contact us to discuss.
We can assist with preparing the Court documents required for the Court proceedings and offer fixed fee legal costs so there are no unexpected surprises or “bill shock” at the conclusion of your matter.
If your matter proceeds to a contested interim or final hearing in the Family Court or Federal Circuit Court or a contested hearing in the Magistrates’ Court then we can assist with arranging a Barrister to appear on your behalf at Court.
We offer alternate fixed fees for clients seeking transparency with their legal costs. We also offer hourly rates and can assist eligible clients with Legal Aid grants.
